| You will choose a constellation name. You may work alone or with a partner. You will research your constellation and give a brief presentation answering the questions below and displaying a model or poster of your constellation. |

Questions (typed and either attached to model/poster or separate)
- Name of your constellation.
- Other constellations located near your constellation.
- The story behind it (what people in the past thought it looked like).
- The brightest star in the constellation and its magnitude.
- The dimmest star in the constellation and its magnitude.
- The best time of the year to see your constellation.
- The names of some of the stars in your constellation.

Model or Poster
- Make a model or poster.
- Large, creative, well organized.
- Suggestions:
(a) Styrofoam Stars (attach different sized styrofoam balls together).
(b) Constellation Tube (use a paper towel roll, tape circles over the end and poke holes in circle to represent stars in constellation).
(c) Poster (paste stars on black construction paper, join stars together using string or other).
(d) Other ideas?
