Drag-and-Drop Electrical Circuits 3

Electrical Components:

  • 3 bulbs, 2 batteries, 2 switches, 1 ammeter, 1 voltmeter, 1 resistor, direction of current flow


Instructions:

  • Place 2 bulbs in series

  • Place a 3rd bulb in parallel with one of the other bulbs

  • Place 2 batteries in series so the total voltage is maximum

  • Place the voltmeter so it measures the voltage of one battery

  • Place the switch so that if it is open, the 2 bulbs in series go out but the 3rd bulb stays on

  • Place the ammeter so when the switch is open, the current is zero

  • Place the resistor so it only affects the current through the bulb that stays on

  • Place the direction of current flow back to the batteries
